The Da Vinci Code

John Barnett, pastor of Tulsa Bible Church, said "The Da Vinci Code" is a "rerun of an old movie as old as Mankind.  Satan has no new lies, just more and more clever and enticing packaging.  The book repeats the original three lies of Satan in the Garden of Eden: attacking the authority of God's Word, the necessity of salvation, and the deity of the promised Christ."

Actor Ian McKellen, co-star of the movie version of The Da Vinci Code stated on NBC's Today Show on May 17, 2006: "I've often thought the Bible should have a disclaimer in the front saying this is fiction."
