Welcome to the road to Heaven
I wonder why you clicked on this button.. Was it to see what Heaven would look like? If so, I am sorry to disappoint you, as web cams cannot reach to Heaven, however, you can get there!
If you think you are already going to Heaven as many people think so, you should be aware of Jesus Christ’s words in Matthew 7:13-14 state: “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” Heaven is not the default eternal destination for mankind, so please don’t leave yet. If you clicked on the Heaven button to find out how to get there, please read on.
Even before Jesus was born, the purpose of his life on Earth was to provide salvation to mankind. In Matthew 1:20-21, But after he (Joseph) had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name of Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”
Jesus summarized this in John 3:16-18, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.“
Later, in John 14:5-7, Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
In the Old Testament days before Christ (B.C.), people wanting to pray to God or atone for their sins, would have to bring one or more offerings to a priest. The priest would then communicate with God through prayer and these offerings in the temple. However, when Jesus was crucified, as described in Matthew 27:51, “the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split“. From that day forward, Jesus Christ is the direct pathway to God and prayers prayed in Jesus’ name communicate directly with God the Father.
No one on earth is, or has been, free of sin, except for Jesus Christ, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23. Do you think you are a good person and don’t need all of this? Please watch this video: Are You a Good Person?
That if you confess with your mouth ‘Jesus is Lord’ and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10
IF you believe in all the above you can ask God for salvation, and be on the narrow road to Heaven. Do you? If so, please pray the following prayer aloud: Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner, and I ask you to forgive me of all of my sins. I now surrender to you as Lord and Savior. From this moment and forward, you will be the Lord of my life, and I will read your word and will obey your word. Lord Jesus, through your blood on the cross, please wash my sins away and write my name in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Because of your blood and the cross, I now know that I am forgiven and saved. I am on my way to heaven because of your sacrifice on the cross. Lord Jesus, I thank you and praise you and it is in your name I pray. Amen.
I urge you to go to the church of your choice or the Cayuga Mission Church, and inform the pastor, or anyone there, that you would like to pray this prayer or a similar one during the “alter call”, usually at the end of the service when all new believers in Christ go to the front of the church. No need to worry about doing that; He will be with you.
